"Sharing Stories from 1977" is an award-winning digital humanities project committed to documenting and preserving the participant experiences and legacy of the National Women’s Conference held in Houston, November 18-21, 1977. It makes important interventions in the historiography of women and politics by showing the range of political engagement from grassroots organizing to the halls of Congress.

This CWS position assists in building the Sharing Stories from 1977 project and website by working with the staff to produce and edit content (biography articles, demographic research, and oral histories) and web presence.
Responsibilities are spread throughout the school year and are not all part of the daily routine at the same time. Training will be provided for all job duties, so you do not need to be an expert in the field to apply.
