Allison M. N. Archer is an assistant professor in the Department of Political Science and the Valenti School of Communication at the University of Houston. She received her Ph.D. in Political Science from Vanderbilt University in 2017 with specializations in political communication, political psychology, and experimental methods. As a former journalist, her research primarily examines questions related to the media and politics. Her work has been published in The Journal of Politics, Political Behavior, and Political Communication. Prior to joining the faculty at UH, she was an assistant professor in the Jepson School of Leadership Studies at the University of Richmond.
