Bio

Her work focuses primarily on the sociology of the body, particularly as it intersects with other status characteristics. Jennifer is the co-author of two books, "Framing Fat" and "Under the Knife" and is currently working on another project regarding oral health. She teaches Introduction to Sociology, Social Problems, Sociology of Gender, Sociology of Culture, Sociology of Health and Health Care, Sociology of Immigration, and Sociology of Drug Use and Addiction.
