
University of Houston Student Daniela Gonzalez Honored by ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge for Outstanding Civic Engagement

Houston, TX — April 9, 2025 — The University of Houston is proud to announce that Daniela Gonzalez, an exceptional student leader, has been selected as a recipient of the ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge award, a national honor recognizing her outstanding commitment to advancing nonpartisan democratic engagement on campus.
The ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge, launched in 2016 and part of the nonprofit Civic Nation, empowers colleges and universities to foster a culture of civic responsibility and increase student participation in the democratic process. With more than 1,000 participating campuses and nearly 10 million students engaged, the initiative has become a national movement for strengthening democracy through higher education.
Daniela Gonzalez has demonstrated remarkable leadership in promoting student voter registration, education, and participation at the University of Houston. Through her passion, creativity, and advocacy, Daniela has played a key role in building a culture of civic awareness and responsibility among her peers. Her work embodies the spirit of the ALL IN Challenge’s mission to “graduate students into voters.”
