UH Marketing and Branding develop the themes, designs, and templates that are used within the university website's  Content Management System to establish and support a shared look, feel, and functionality for University of Houston websites.

The Cascade CMS is no longer available.

All formerly Cascade-based websites should now be developing out of Modern Campus CMS.

NEW IN 2025: MODERN CAMPUS CMS

Previous website editing access is not transferrable between Cascade and Modern Campus. New access must be authorized, and the appropriate level of Modern Campus training must be completed.

To arrange training towards Modern Campus CMS access please:

  • First contact the Communications office for your college or department for authorization and recommended procedures. They may make arrangements on your behalf. 
  • If your department asks you to arrange for training, communicate directly with Marketing via Kyle Stehling, Dir Online Marketing/UX  and/or  Deana Kreitz, Exec Dir Web/Digital Strategy.
