Hearing Services
Hearing Evaluations
Evaluations to determine the type and severity of hearing loss are administered by a certified and licensed audiologist. Services are available to adults and children ages two and older. Medical referrals to doctors who specialize in ear disorders are provided when necessary.
Hearing Aid Evaluations/Consultations
Evaluations and consultations are available to adults and children ages two and older. Recommendations for amplification are made based on the type and severity of hearing loss.
Hearing Screenings
Graduate students provide community and clinic-based hearing screenings for children and adults under the supervision of a certified and licensed audiologist or speech-language pathologist.
Hearing Aid Assistance Program
The Hearing Aid Assistance Program is a program provided by the USLHC and the United Way. Hearing evaluations and hearing aids are available to low-income persons at a reduced rate through funding from the United Way.
