Get an M.A. in English
Our master’s program in English has been fully redesigned to meet two goals:
- to be relevant to the social, political, and enviromental challenges of the 21st century
- to accommodate professionals who work full- or part-time
The program features a host of new courses, including Young Adult Latinx Literature, Literature & the Environment, and Rhetoric of Public Culture. Victorian Literature emphasizes the ongoing effects of empire, while American Literature explores the context of crisis. All classes are offered during evening hours and as interactive, asynchronous online courses – allowing us to also accomodate working professionals.
Finally, our master's program requires just 30 credit hours (10 classes) to degree completion, despite providing a rigorous and rewarding educational experience.
