About our Department

Our department is home to more than 30 faculty dedicated to research and teaching in the histories of Africa, East and South Asia, Europe, Latin America, Mexico and Borderlands, the Middle East, and the United States. We offer a broad range of undergraduate courses and research opportunities toward a History major or minor, with concentrations like our “Law and Public Policy” track. Our graduate students can obtain M.A. degrees in History or Public History, as well as a Ph.D. in History.
