The Angers program is a faculty-led learning abroad program in France which allows students to take University of Houston courses in a “total immersion” environment during the summer. UH courses, designed only for our group, are taught at the Université Catholique de l’Ouest, in the heart of the city of Angers, a historic university town, 90 minutes by TGV train from Paris. Students stay with families and participate in tours and excursions organized by program director, Dr. Giacchetti.
Courses offered include FREN 2301 & 2302 (accelerated one year program), and advanced-level courses at the 3000 and 4000 level, which count toward the minor and the major.
