UH COMD Speech-Language Pathology Graduate Program Rises in 2021 National Rankings
U.S. News & World Report unveiled its 2021 rankings of the nation’s best graduate schools and programs, in which the speech-language pathology program in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders (COMD) rose to 55th in the nation. In earning this ranking, the program gained 14 spots over its 2020 position and entered the top 25% of comparable graduate programs nationwide.
UH Clinical Psychology Doctoral Program Ranked Among Nation’s Best
The University of Houston College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (CLASS) is proud to recognize the clinical psychology doctoral program for ranking 56th in the U.S. News & World Report 2021 Best Clinical Psychology Doctoral Programs list. The rankings show the clinical psychology program with an increase of 30 spots over its 2020 position, reflecting strong assessments from deans, administrators, and faculty in psychology departments across the United States.
UH History Professor to Speak at New York Times Event
The New York Times Magazine has tapped University of Houston Moores Professor of History and African American Studies Gerald Horne, Ph.D., JD, to participate in the New York Times Magazine special lecture and discussion event, “1619 Project: Slavery and the American Revolution: A Historical Dialogue,” which will be held at The New York Times headquarters on March 6.
