Last Chance Pick-Up Dates

Any unclaimed commencement tickets that were awarded through the Guest Ticket Lottery will be distributed on a first come, first served basis.

Due to venue capacity, no additonal tickets are available for the following ceremonies;

Thursday, December 18 - Cullen College of Engineering

Thursday, December 18 - C.T. Bauer College of Business

Please note, additional tickets through the Last Chance Pick-Up are not guaranteed. Unclaimed, printed tickets will be distributed until they have all been dispersed. This will be the final opportunity to receive additonal commencement tickets.

Commencement Tickets

Tickets will be required for all commencement ceremonies taking place at the University of Houston. Tickets will be distributed to the graduating students via email closer to the date of the ceremonies. Each graduate will receive six (6) electronic tickets. Graduates themselves will not require a ticket. Children two (2) years of age and under will not require tickets. Tickets are ceremony-specific and may only be used for the ceremony displayed on the ticket.

All commencement tickets are complimentary, and any unused tickets should be returned to the commencement ticket pool. The selling of commencement tickets is not condoned by the University and could constitute a violation of the Student Code of Conduct. Failure to comply with this directive will result in a referral to the Dean of Students Office.

Commencement Guest Ticket Lottery

Need additional guest tickets? Students interested in entering the commencement guest ticket lottery to receive additional tickets can submit a request for more tickets. Please use the link below to submit your request for additional commencement guest tickets.

The Commencement Guest Ticket Lottery will only be open from Tuesday, November 4 at 10:00am through Saturday, November 8 at 11:59pm. The University will not hold another ticketing lottery this semester. The Fall 2025 Commencement Guest Ticket Lottery Is Now Closed.

Lottery results were announced via email on Friday, November 14.
