Cost and Billing
Beginning in FY26, there will be a minimum effective billing rate increase of 5% across
the Facilities Services shops that provide billable services to UH departments. This
supports the University of Houston’s commitment to remain market competitive by way
of the recent market equity increases.
The table of shop billing rates for FY26 is provided below. There is no cost increases
to departments for regular ongoing maintenance requests for education and general
state funded space. However, services outside of routinely scheduled repairs and
maintenance are billable to the campus customer.
