David began his private club management career working 13 years at Houston Country Club. In 1987, he became the General Manager at The Country Club in Brookline, Massachusetts, during which time he oversaw four U.S.G.A. Championships as well as the 1999 Ryder Cup matches. David is a past Chair of the National Club Association and past President of the South Texas and New England Chapters of Club Management Association of America. He earned his bachelor of science degree at Conrad N. Hilton College and worked for 13 years at the Houston Country Club. 


David served as chairman of the board for the National Club Association, president of the New England and South Texas Region Chapters of the Club Managers Association of America, and trustee of the School of Business and Management Advisory Board at Newbury College. He serves on the Board of Advisors at Boston University School of Hospitality Administration, where he began a Private Club Management course in 2000. He is active in the United States Golf Association as a Greens Committee member and lecturer.

David resides in Needham, Massachusetts, with his wife Lucie and their two adult children, Greg and Sarah.
