Career Highlights
Brings ten years of industry experience, predominately in wine and beverage; past
positions include working as a wine retail associate, an account executive at a wine-focused
marketing company, a managing editor at the Wine Business Journal, and part-time lecturer
at the Collins College of Hospitality Management; worked as a server at a brewery
and as a caterer; served as both a teaching and research assistant throughout academic
career; involved with several wine associations and organizations; certifications
include Certified Sommelier, Certified Specialist of Wine, WSET Level 3 in Wine, and
Certified Beer Server.
Currently teaches Beverage Management; author of published papers on wine consumer
behavior and wine business leadership; author and co-author of several working papers
on employee well-being in the beverage industry, beverage marketing, and organizational
support in the wine industry; presented at three renowned academic conferences in
the areas of hospitality and wine; recipient of several industry scholarships; serves
as vice president of the Hilton College Doctoral Student Association.
