The University of Houston promotion and tenure process is an electronic process using a SharePoint site. For confidentiality and security purposes, access to the Site is limited to specific time periods and accessible only by current year candidates and reviewers.

SharePoint Access Information
College P&T representatives inform the office of the Provost of non-mandatory candidates up for review for promotion and tenure. College Liaisons and candidates receive access at the start of the yearly process. The candidate will receive access notification by email.
Once the review process begins, college/departmental committee members will be given access at the request of the College P&T representative(s) and will receive access notification by email.
Training Information
Candidates, P&T representatives at the college and department level, and reviewers may use the User Guide to learn how to access, upload and navigate the P&T site. Trainings are also held beginning in the summer and into the fall semester.
We host open drop-in sessions every Friday at 11 am. P&T and NTT Candidates and Liaisons may join at their convenience. Registration is not required for the drop-in sessions.
