SACSCOC University Accreditation Resources

The Office of Institutional Effectiveness asks that disciplinary accreditation self-studies use standard language when describing the university’s accreditation with SACSCOC.
The University of Houston is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award baccalaureate, masters, and doctorate degrees. The University of Houston also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels. UH colleges and academic programs also hold a discplinary accreditation by additional agencies.
