Ralph E. Powe Junior Faculty Enhancement Awards
Our commitment to enriching the research skills and professional growth of young faculty members at ORAU member institutions is embodied in the Ralph E. Powe Junior Faculty Enhancement Awards Program. These competitive research awards provide seed money for junior faculty members that often result in additional funding from other sources.
Limited Submission Announcement
The DOR limited submission application is due 6 weeks before the external application due date.
Research project must fall within one of these seven disciplines:
- Engineering and Applied Science; Life Sciences; Mathematics/Computer Sciences; Physical Sciences; Policy, Management or Education; Augmented Reality in the Workplace; Supply Chain Innovation.
Internal Application requirements: Abstract, Biosketch, Current and Pending Funding, Cost Share Information.
Internal Review
The AVP/AVC for Research and Technology Transfer along with college ADRs, will review all limited submission applications.
Two applications will move forward and will need to provide additional materials for the full application:
- Resume (one page)
- Publications and/or presentations (one page)
- Two Letters of Recommendation
- Research Proposal (two pages)
- Nomination Letter the from Chair or Dean

Only university selected applicants may submit an application through the PeerNet System.
Applications are due in January.
