Daryal Bond
Confidential Advocate, Sexual Misconduct Support Services
Born and raised in the vibrant heart of New York City, I originally set out to become a veterinarian. However, my fascination with human behavior led me down a different path—one that culminated in earning my bachelor's degree in psychology from Hunter College. During my time there, I created and co-hosted The Ladies Room, a radio show with my sister, where I discovered a passion for public speaking, producing, and creative storytelling.
In 2020, I embraced a new adventure and moved to Houston, Texas. A year later, I stepped into the world of social services, beginning in case management before transitioning to outreach work for an anti-sex trafficking organization. Each experience deepened my commitment to advocacy and community engagement. Now, I am honored to work for the very institution where I will be earning my master’s degree in social work in May 2025.
An avid adventurer, I approach life with boundless curiosity and a love for learning. With too many hobbies to count, I thrive on new experiences, always seeking opportunities to grow, connect, and make a meaningful impact.
