Funding
The CPH offers various funding options in any given academic year.
Public History Fellowship
The Public History Fellowship supports a graduate student who assists CPH faculty research and events. The fellowship includes a monthly stipend. The award is renewable.
History Department Funding
Public history MA students may sometimes have the opportunity to TA in the History Department. Funding is dependent on availability of resources.
Second year public history MA students can apply for the John L. Nau III Research Assistanship. This is an annual competitive award, and the students selected will work on a CPH research project.
Other CPH Opportunities
CPH faculty rountinely hire public history students to work on projects funded with external grants.
Public history students are also hired to work for community and university partners when they have project funding available.
