Clínica CARMA

Clínica CARMA provides Spanish-language comprehensive neuropsychology evaluations for older adults with memory and/or thinking concerns. The goals of an evaluation are to: (a) understand the cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and functional state of a person; (b) provide diagnostic services; and (c) identify strengths and opportunities for improvement in daily life.

Clinic Information

Dr. Medina runs Clínica CARMA at the University of Houston campus. He is a neuropsychologist by training, and is licensed to practice psychology in Texas. You can find out more about Dr. Medina here, and more about Dr. Medina’s Collaborative on Aging Research and Multicultural Assessment (CARMA) here. Under the supervision of Dr. Medina, CARMA graduate students rotate through the clinic, offering a complement to their research work in this area.

Clínica CARMA does not accept insurance, but does operate on a sliding scale fee system ($250 - $650).

Evaluations take place on a single day (Wednesdays) and include interviews, testing, and review of available medical records. Both oral and written feedback is provided approximately 2-3 weeks after the day of evaluation.
