Clint Boman, CSP

Professional Background 

With over 40 years of oil and gas experience, Clint most recently served as the Senior Vice President of HSE for a Gulf of America decommissioning company. Over the years Clint has built a reputation for servant leadership in effectively managing onshore, offshore, and international oil and gas operations. Throughout his career, he has been instrumental in driving cultural transformation, particularly in Operational Excellence (OE) and Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS).

Field Experience and Facility Operations 

Clint’s operational expertise is grounded in three years as an offshore field operations Production Operator and five years as field Operations Foreman. During this period, he directly led the commissioning, startup, and ongoing operations of more than 30 offshore facilities, demonstrating both technical proficiency and leadership.

Leadership and Team Development 

A significant contribution from Clint was his transitional leadership in developing a Technical Services team dedicated to the continuous improvement of former company’s Gulf of Mexico operations. His vision extended to the grassroots establishment of the company’s first EHS department, where he became the driving force behind the NO HARM journey. Clint played a key role as a transitional leader, guiding the company from a reactive approach to EHS management toward industry-leading, proactive performance.

Vision for Operational Excellence 

Clint conceived and built his former company’s Operational Excellence team, introducing creative strategies such as Lean Six Sigma for continuous improvement. He was instrumental in developing operational standards and assembling a team of subject matter experts in critical areas, including Production Chemicals, Asset Integrity, Rotating Equipment, and Process Safety. Through these efforts, Clint has consistently driven ongoing improvements in safety, reliability, productivity, and efficiency across operations.
