Make sweet holiday memories at the City of Sugar Land's Annual Christmas Tree Lighting! Enjoy festive live performances, photos with Santa, family-fun activities, sweet treats, and a countdown to the tree lighting as we light up Sugar Land Town Square to conclude the evening.

SnowFest Festival and Tree Lighting

  • Location: City Hall Complex: 1522 Texas Pkwy, Missouri City, TX 77489
The festival includes a giant snow hill, carnival rides, a holiday market, pictures with Santa Claus, food, games, entertainment, and fireworks show to end the night! Don’t miss all the fun of SnowFest!

Reel Talk: Timebomb Y2K

Reel Talk is a series of documentary screenings at University Branch Library with brief discussions of the films after they are shown. This month, we’re viewing Timebomb Y2K. This documentary explores the global panic and preparation surrounding the Y2K computer bug, highlighting the cultural and technological implications of the millennium’s arrival. It runs 1 hour and 24 minutes. It is rated PG.
